Job Title: Customer Support Representative I
Location: Boston, MA
Contract Length: 4-month contract (11/03/2025 - 03/02/2026)
Schedule: 40 hrs/week | 9:00-5:00 M-F, occasional weekend/evening work
Pay: $21/hr
Customer Support Representative Qualifications (Required):
The Customer Support Representative I supports fundraising initiatives by assisting donors with inquiries, updating payment information, and fulfilling member benefits. This role works closely with the 26-person fundraising team to help secure restricted and unrestricted gifts.
The staffing industry has seen an increase in people falsely representing themselves as recruiters to gather personal information from job seekers. - Experience with customer service via phone and email.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience using Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to adapt to fluctuating workload during fundraising campaign periods.
- Previous experience in donor services or nonprofit environment.

- Update donor payment information and records in Salesforce.
- Assist with member benefit fulfillment, including packaging donor gifts and sending acknowledgment letters.
- Maintain accurate donor records and track contributions.
- Provide support during high-volume periods, including certain dates during the fundraising campaign.
