Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in innovative messaging solutions, is seeking a UX Researcher V to join their team. As a UX Researcher V, you will be part of the User Experience Research department supporting Messenger Notifications & Search teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a passion for enhancing user experiences, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: UX Researcher V

Location: New York, NY - onsite position

Pay Range: 50-55/hr

What's the Job?

  • Design and execute custom research to identify user needs and preferences.

  • Conduct quantitative studies, including survey design, data cleaning, and analysis.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop tailored survey experiences and inform ranking and machine learning models.

  • Advocate for user needs across all organizational levels and synthesize findings into compelling storytelling through presentations, reports, and workshops.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, data scientists, and engineers to ensure research insights are integrated into product development.

What's Needed?

  • BA/BS degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Business, Psychology, Social Science, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in product or user research environments.

  • Proficiency in research design, survey development, data analysis (including regression, ANOVA, t-tests, Chi Square), and tools like Python, R, or SPSS.

  • Experience with online research tools for survey implementation and data analysis.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
