Salary: $18.05 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Part-time/20 hours per week. Work schedule is variable and includes evenings and weekends. Performs entry-level paraprofessional library work assisting primarily in the Circulation section of the library.
Responsibilities
This position performs entry-level paraprofessional library work, assisting primarily in the Circulation section of the library.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of one (1) year of college coursework at an accredited college or university (30 semester hours/45 quarter hours = one (1) year) OR one (1) year of public library or customer service experience. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: When usage statistics change, library employees may be assigned to another library. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
