A Day in the Life
The AVP, Visual Merchandising will be part of a dynamic, creative environment where you will ensure visual standards are continuously elevated and design solutions achieve strategic business goals. You will develop consumer‑centric design solutions for 2D creative programs and 3D visual merchandising, oversee the visual expression of the brand in‑store, and be responsible for meeting operational deliverables within timelines, adhering to cost‑conscious design and streamlining communication throughout the development process.
Responsibilities
- Close partnership with global team to ensure correct brand expression for high‑end luxury brand in all in‑store execution.
 - Sephora merchandising: animate & update the Sephora open‑sell gondola to meet strategic objectives.
 - Ensure perfect visual merchandising across Department Stores, Specialty Stores, Open Sell environments; create merchandising directives and planograms.
 - Develop and adapt visual collateral for new launches, seasonal and holiday displays, and temporary store environments that align with marketing strategy.
 - Print collateral, prepress, including mechanical and dies for printing process, color proofing, and matching.
 
Requirements
- 12+ years of related experience.
 - Recognized expertise within the company.
 - Proven ability to solve complex problems with broad business impact.
 - Deep knowledge of retail design fundamentals; decode brand identity, master products, and market insights; track trends and competition.
 - Operational excellence mindset; ensure high‑quality POS material aligned with market specificities.
 - Strong communication skills across departments.
 - Collaboration and persuasion skills to defend design solutions while remaining flexible.
 - Superior organizational skills; manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
 - Strong visual merchandising background.
 
Compensation
Salary Range: $147,100 – $213,300 + bonus. Actual compensation may vary by location, experience, education, and skill level.
