As a Security Professional - Media Patrol Specialist in Bessemer, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, with working conditions that may vary depending on the site.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to Allied Universal and client representatives according to established protocols.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing directions and support as needed while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related issues specific to technology, media, and telecommunications environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
