Chobani
La Colombe is hiring a strategic leader to own the roasted coffee product portfolio. This role will lead innovation, performance tracking, and cross-channel alignment for roasted formats, ensuring La Colombe's offerings remain best-in-class across retail, café, and e-commerce.
Responsibilities
Lead comprehensive strategy and execution for the entire roasted coffee product portfolio, including packaging updates, product evolution, and sales support
Drive long-term portfolio roadmap aligned with company growth objectives and market opportunities
Manage product lifecycle from development through discontinuation
Develop and manage a robust innovation pipeline for roasted formats, from consumer insight generation through concept development to full-scale launch
Lead cross-functional innovation teams to identify white space opportunities and bring differentiated products to market
Establish innovation frameworks and stage-gate processes to ensure disciplined product development
Ensure strategic alignment across all channels (retail, café, e-commerce) for product launches, pricing, and positioning
Partner with business unit leads to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies
Create clear, concise, and compelling product positioning and messaging tailored to specific customer segments and channels
Pricing Strategy:
Own and develop cohesive pricing architecture across all channels, balancing profitability targets with competitive positioning
Conduct regular pricing analyses and recommend strategic adjustments based on market dynamics
Performance Management & Analytics:
Track and analyze product performance using advanced analytics, translating insights into actionable strategies that drive growth
Establish and monitor KPIs across the portfolio, using data to optimize product mix and inform future development
Present regular business reviews to senior leadership with strategic recommendations
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Partner with R&D, marketing, sales, operations, and supply chain to ensure seamless product commercialization
Lead cross-functional teams through complex product launches and initiatives
Build strong relationships across the organization to drive alignment and execution excellence
Develop comprehensive sales tools and resources including sales decks, training materials, competitive intelligence, and product education
Partner with sales leadership to ensure field teams are equipped to effectively sell and position products
Conduct regular training sessions and create ongoing enablement content
Build and foster relationships with key customers to enhance product offerings and inform roadmap development
Stay current on competitive landscape, consumer trends, and category dynamics
Serve as the voice of the customer within the organization
Requirements
7-10 years of progressive experience in product strategy, brand management, or product management, preferably in CPG or café/foodservice sectors
Deep understanding of coffee or beverage categories, including product development and consumer behavior
Proven track record of successfully leading product portfolios and driving measurable business results
Strong analytical capabilities with experience using data to drive strategic decisions
Excellent project management skills with ability to lead multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership
Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
