Overview IDC is looking to hire a Content Permissions Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the IDC Permissions group tasked with protecting IDC's intellectual property. The environment is fast‑paced, requiring strong time management and multi‑tasking skills. In this role, you will review and verify requests to use IDC data, quotes, and research in client external marketing and promotional materials. You will also work with IDC Legal on client requests to use IDC research in litigation.

Responsibilities
Manage and fulfill client requests to use IDC intellectual property in public documents such as press releases, marketing materials, presentations, and advertisements.
Verify that the content to be cited is accurate, current, properly sourced, and used in an appropriate context per IDC's Content Usage Guidelines.
Review all requests to promote IDC MarketScape documents to ensure IDC's strict MarketScape guidelines are followed and applied consistently.
Seek approvals from the appropriate individuals in IDC's research and consulting community as needed.
Work with IDC analysts on custom quotes and other external quote requests by clients and non‑clients. Provide guidance and answer questions as needed.
Coordinate with IDG Legal on client requests to use IDC content in litigation and regulatory filings. Coordinate filing Content Use Agreements with clients and IDG Legal.
Work with IDC Sales as needed to verify client status and excerpt purchases.
Qualifications
3 to 5 years experience in a role that included writing, editing, copy‑editing, and proofreading.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Intercom, MSFT OWA.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to multi‑task in a fast paced environment.

The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $60,000 – $70,000 USD and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation.
