Marketing Specialist (Full-Time) ( Hybrid in Madison, NJ ) (Law-Firm)
Location: Hybrid work schedule in Madison, New Jersey Salary: $80K - $100K Base Salary
Must Haves: Strong sense of initiative, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team High proficiency with Canva, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop Knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel 3+ years of experience in a professional environment, preferably in a law firm or professional services firm Bachelor's degree required Knowledge of CRM platforms and website content management systems
This role supports the Firm's Marketing and Business Development initiatives and reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to support all marketing and Client initiatives across the Firm and its practices and sectors. As appropriate, take the lead in creating client alerts, announcements, invitations, and other marketing collateral pieces, using the e-marketing platform and design software. Oversee coordination of media plan and production of advertisements. Maintain the Firm's website and social media presence by drafting website news items and social media posts, and creating appropriate graphics to accompany them. Manage new content on Firm blogs, including review of new attorney posts. Manage revisions to attorney bios, practice group, and other descriptive pieces. Oversee proposal process for potential engagements, working directly with attorneys on responses to RFPs and materials needed for new client pitches, including developing customized content. Manage sponsorship details for practice groups and individual attorneys. Manage the Firm's annual client gift program from end to end, including vendor selection and coordination, collaborating with attorneys to fulfill gift requests, and consolidating individual orders into efficient bulk orders. Assist with effectively using the Firm's Contact Relationship Management System, including attorney onboarding and CRM-related training, developing appropriate contact mailing lists for targeted marketing communications, and coordinating Client-related CRM workspaces. Assist with client events, including creating invitations, providing on-site support as needed, and contributing to follow-up. Collaborate with other marketing and Client team members on special projects and day-to-day tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Strong aptitude for new technologies, with minimal learning curve Highly organized and exceptionally attentive to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent proofreading abilities Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills to interact with attorneys at all levels, staff, and vendors Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines while remaining flexible to new situations Proactive in assuming responsibility and anticipating needs in executing marketing projects. Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong project management skills and sound judgment Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Knowledge of podcast editing software is a plus
