Overview


Work in the Future of Fitness. BODY20 is a new boutique fitness studio offering personal training with FDA-cleared Electric Muscle Stimulation (EMS) technology. One 20-minute workout is equivalent to hours in the gym so you can build muscle and burn calories without the need for heavy weights and impact on the joints.


As a Studio Manager, you will lead all sales and operations for the studio – driving new member growth and delivering a great member experience.


Responsibilities



  • Sales:

    • Accountable for meeting studio sales revenue goals and daily activity targets (e.g. 100 calls to leads a day)

    • Sell memberships to leads who come in for a demo workout

    • Develop relationships with local businesses to plan and execute offsite marketing and sales events to generate more leads



  • Fitness Training:

    • Become a certified trainer with the Electric Muscle Stimulation device (no previous fitness or personal training experience or certification required)

    • Fill in and train members as needed due to coach scheduling issues

    • Lead the team of coaches, exchanging best practices and driving continuous improvement

    • Hire and train new coaches, managing their certification process



  • Operations:

    • Manage and oversee all aspects of the studio's daily operations

    • Create and maintain the staff schedule

    • Handle member service escalations and issues

    • Ensure daily operational processes are followed (e.g. member service & follow-up, cleanliness, invoicing/billing)

    • Implement and roll out promotions and other corporate programs in the studio

    • Evaluate employee performance and create improvement action plans as required

    • Manage social media channels

    • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and staff




Requirements



  • Passion for health and wellness

  • Previous experience in a management role

  • Previous experience in a sales role, with an excitement for sales

  • Strong leadership and communication skills – be a first one in, last one out leader who will lead by example style, inspiring and motivating the team but also willing to step into any role temporarily when required

  • Comfort working on multiple concurrent activities, while still keeping an eye on the details

  • An energetic and friendly disposition

  • Certification in personal training or fitness instruction is a plus


Role Logistics



  • Full time role – 40+ hours in the studio weekly, may include a weekend day depending on scheduling needs. This is not a remote or work-from-home role.


Compensation


Base salary $50,000 plus variable compensation for new member sales and bonuses for meeting and exceeding revenue and profitability targets, with a path to $80K+ total compensation.
