Overview
The Manager, Video Investment oversees media portfolios, develops and executes media strategies, and communicates those strategies to clients. The role also includes building and managing a team of Video Associates, forging relationships with media partners, and leveraging those relationships to deepen marketplace knowledge.
Role Objectives
Oversee all Associate work/day‑to‑day operations and accuracy of all tasks across the Video Activation process
Negotiate total purchases across National Linear and Digital Video
Lead preparation of tactical presentations and POVs for clients with support from the Associate Director
Compile planning cost estimates across the portfolio for Associate Director review
Oversee Associates’ creation of consideration sets, buy specs/RFPs to send to the marketplace
Oversee Associates’ analysis of vendor plans for proper inventory placement and pricing
Work with the Planning Team to develop added‑value/marketing recommendations that offer brand value
Oversee Associates’ stewardship tasks and optimization, such as season‑to‑date reporting
Lead the post‑campaign posting process
Conduct and compile post‑analysis alongside Associates—determine insights and implications of data
Pro‑actively identify and resolve campaign execution issues
Work with the Planning/Analytics Team to develop regular campaign reporting on progress and results against key metrics
Support Associates with troubleshooting billing, allocation, and reporting problems
Serve as the main point of contact for Planning Team requests
Provide cost information, creative questions, or programming highlights
Manage workload and help train Associates to ensure proper team support and employee development
Consistently update the Associate Director on project status
Attend client meetings as requested and provide timely follow‑up to internal or client requests
Maintain understanding of clients’ business needs and marketplace
Remain up‑to‑date on current national video partner opportunities and offerings, including generation of innovative, new‑to‑market ideas
Represent the Video COE in internal and external discussions across key video topics
Qualifications
Minimum of 3+ years of linear media buying or activation experience
Minimum of 1+ year of digital experience
1+ year of people‑management experience
Working knowledge of all basic media systems/tools/processes (e.g., MediaOcean, Prisma, Spectra/Media Bank)
Experience with all areas of National Video, including Linear, OLV, CTV, and Addressable
Strong listening skills and the ability to take, disseminate, and follow up on meeting notes
Clear and concise communication, both oral and written, with the talent to explain complicated ideas to clients and stakeholders
Comfortable with presenting, in person and virtually, to client and internal teams
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, delegating effectively to Associates as needed
Strong negotiating abilities
Experience working in a matrix (multi‑supervisory) environment; strong organizational skills and a demonstrated work ethic
Adherence to agency procedures (e.g., timely and accurate timesheets, GDPs, 360 feedback)
Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills

Compensation range: $93,975.00 – $106,260 annually. The company reserves the right to modify this range at any time. Temporary roles may qualify for medical and 401(k) plans after meeting eligibility criteria. The application deadline is 11/25/2025 .
