Job Description Adjunct or part time teaching assignments include in person day and evening courses Professors work collaboratively to create a learner centered environment focused on student learning and success. Teaching approaches are expected to include active and collaborative techniques and real-world applications related to animation and digital photography. Responsibilities and Duties Create a community of learners Plan and implement active and collaborative learning and assessment Provide consistent feedback Evaluate achievement Assign grades Maintain student records of attendance, participation, grades, etc. Work collaboratively with divisional staff Monitor email communications from students and the college, and respond in a timely manner Focus on the Commonwealth\'s Equity Agenda by applying related best practices throughout all job functions. Capable of maintaining academic standards with empathy and honesty. Knowledge of and experience using effective pedagogical strategies. Additional Information Position Status: Adjunct Faculty, Part-Time Non-Benefited MCCC/MTA bargaining unit position Semester: Fall 2025 Salary: $1,397.00 per credit, consistent with the DCE Collective Bargaining Agreement. If hired for the position mid-semester, the salary will be pro-rated based on the number of weeks left in the semester. Worksite: Assignments will include all Massasoit sites and additional locations as necessary.
