Job Description We are excited to bring on a talented Dutch‑speaking Poker Editor to join our team. In this role, you will create, edit, and optimise engaging poker‑related content, ensuring high quality, SEO compliance and accuracy. You will collaborate daily with editors and team members to support content strategy, project success, and steady content production. Responsibilities Edit a wide range of poker content, including how‑to guides, strategy explainers, player profiles, game variants, and long‑form features. Identify high‑opportunity keywords and content gaps, create content plans and optimise pages. Plan and maintain a content calendar aligned with SEO strategy, poker trends, and audience needs. Ensure content meets best practices in on‑page SEO, technical SEO, and internal linking. Analyse traffic/ranking reports to identify new initiatives that increase revenue and earn organic backlinks. Ensure all content is factually accurate, well‑written, and optimised for search and user engagement. Grow traffic for both informational and commercial pages in the Netherlands. Manage and expand a network of poker‑savvy freelance writers and contributors. Stay current on poker news, game updates, and industry trends to inform content planning. Qualifications Proven experience commissioning and editing content in the poker space. Deep understanding of poker gameplay, formats (cash, tournaments, online/live), and strategy. Strong editorial judgement with the ability to shape and elevate complex content for all skill levels. Solid grasp of SEO principles for evergreen and informational content. Excellent editing, writing, and communication skills. Experience managing freelance writers and providing clear, constructive feedback. Comfortable using data and analytics tools to inform and refine content strategy. Highly organised, able to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously. Awareness of responsible gaming practices and regulatory considerations. Passion for poker and an understanding of what the poker audience values. Vast experience with on‑page SEO. Experience with SEO tools (Moz, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Majestic, Screaming Frog, etc.). Knowledge of WordPress is a must. Excellent written and spoken skills in English and Dutch.
