About the Opportunity As the Marketing & Communications Manager for WVA Fun, you’ll lead all marketing efforts exclusively for this client and be physically on-site in Moorefield, WV, five days a week. No remote off-site days. You’ll live the brand, embed yourself in the community, and deliver high-impact campaigns that boost local awareness, engagement and revenue.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute full-funnel marketing strategies (digital, traditional, social) tailored to WVA Fun’s audience.
Own content creation, campaign planning, execution and measurement — including website traffic, engagement, conversion and local partnerships.
Manage social media channels, produce compelling visuals and messaging that resonate with the regional community.
Report performance: deliver actionable insights via regular dashboards and translate data into next-step tactics.
Stay ahead of trend shifts in marketing, especially for small-town/regional entertainment/experiences — and apply them to drive growth.
Collaborate cross-functionally on events, promotions and local activations to elevate the WVA Fun brand in the South Branch Valley region.
Who You Are
A strategic thinker and hands-on executor, you’ll collaborate on the direction, but you’ll also do the heavy lifting.
Experienced in multi-channel marketing (digital, social, content, traditional) with quantifiable outcomes.
Comfortable working five days a week on location in Moorefield, WV, ready to immerse yourself in the client’s community.
Excellent communicator- both in creating copy/messaging and in presenting insights internally and externally.
Analytical- you track metrics and you pivot tactics based on what the data tells you.
Self-starter who can manage projects end-to-end and move fast when changes are required.
