Senior Technical Recruiter @ Klaviyo | Integrating AI for Strategic Hiring

We’re Klaviyo (pronounced clay-vee-oh). We empower creators to own their destiny by making first-party data accessible and actionable like never before. We see limitless potential for the technology we’re developing to nurture personalized experiences in ecommerce and beyond. To reach our goals, we need our own crew of remarkable creators—ambitious and collaborative teammates who stay focused on our north star: delighting our customers. If you’re ready to do the best work of your career, where you’ll be welcomed as your whole self from day one and supported with generous benefits, we hope you’ll join us.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our growing design organization. As a senior individual contributor, you’ll play a key role in setting design direction, shaping product strategy, and driving high-quality user experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers to bring bold ideas to life and ensure that what we design is not only functional but also fast, intuitive, and inspiring.

This role requires someone excited to tackle ambitious design challenges, mentor others on the team, and leverage design to drive meaningful business outcomes.

How You’ll Have an Impact

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to get design projects prioritized, shipped, and delivering measurable results.
  • Lead and coordinate multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Create design flows, prototypes, sketches, and polished UI.
  • Facilitate design critiques and provide constructive feedback as a design leader.
  • Drive process improvements across the design lifecycle.
  • Transform workflows by putting AI at the center, building smarter systems and ways of working from the ground up.
  • Adapt the design process to support cross-functional problem solving.
  • Contribute to design culture and team growth, including interviewing and mentoring.

What You’ll Need

  • 8+ years of professional product design experience.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end design work — from defining problems and audiences through product adoption and iteration.
  • Experience driving product growth through experimentation, data-informed design, and continuous iteration.
  • You’ve already experimented with AI in work or personal projects, and you’re excited to dive in and learn fast. You’re hungry to responsibly explore new AI tools and workflows, finding ways to make your work smarter and more efficient.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment and bring cross-functional teams together.
  • A systems-thinking mindset, able to identify and design for common components and scalable patterns.
  • Comfort taking a unique or even unpopular perspective and facilitating productive discussions toward alignment.
  • A growth mindset, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills.
