Senior / Lead Designer
to join our team — someone with a refined design eye, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the design and procurement process from concept to installation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design projects from concept through completion, overseeing all phases including space planning, design presentations, sourcing, documentation, purchasing, and installation
Develop and present cohesive design concepts that reflect both client goals and firm aesthetic standards
Oversee and mentor junior design staff, providing guidance, delegation, and constructive feedback
Manage client communication and expectations throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and fabricators to ensure design intent and quality standards are met
Prepare design presentations, construction documents, and specifications using firm templates and standards
Review and approve purchase orders, quotes, and finish schedules in collaboration with the procurement team
Participate in photoshoots, marketing initiatives, and internal process development as needed
Requirements
Minimum
5 years of professional interior design experience
(preferably in high-end residential design)
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and team members simultaneously
Confident client communication and presentation skills
Deep understanding of materials, furnishings, and the custom design process
Experience managing design assistants and leading client-facing meetings
