We are seeking an experienced Design & Sales Manager to lead client engagement, drive revenue growth, and help assist with the launch of our new concept store in Tribeca. This role blends luxury jewelry sales expertise with creative customization, offering clients an elevated, personalized experience. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in fine or high jewelry, a proven sales record, and an existing client roster. You should be confident in managing complex client relationships, closing high-value transactions, and bringing an elevated design sensibility to every interaction and bespoke piece. This role will begin in our SoHo showroom and transition to our retail concept store in Tribeca in the Spring of 2026. Along with the location shift, the focus of the role will evolve — from planning and conception to full luxury retail sales execution. Base Pay Range

$65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr Additional Compensation Types

Annual Bonus and Commission Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients across bridal, bespoke, and fine jewelry categories. Manage a personal book of business, proactively cultivating new and repeat clientele through exceptional relationship management. Guide clients through every step of the purchasing and customization journey—diamond education, design selection, and post‑purchase care. Deliver an immersive and personalized experience that reflects the brand’s elevated aesthetic and values. Collaborate with our gem‑experts to curate and select optimal stones for presenting to clients—whether for bespoke commissions or collection pieces. Achieve and exceed individual and store sales goals through strategic pipeline management and lead nurturing. Interpret client visions into bespoke designs, ensuring creative integrity and technical feasibility. Utilize Shahla Karimi’s digital design platform as well as general 2D and 3D design platforms (Rhino 3D, Adobe Illustrator) to create custom jewelry concepts in real time with clients. Collaborate with the creative and production teams to ensure seamless design execution and delivery. Operational Excellence

Play an integral role in launching and operationalizing Shahla Karimi’s new NYC Concept Store. Manage junior sales associates and support staff in luxury service standards and product knowledge. Oversee end‑to‑end sales administration, from client communications to Shopify POS transactions. Maintain showroom presentation standards, including merchandising and visual storytelling. Support inventory management, CRM upkeep, and post‑sale service coordination. Qualifications

5+ years of experience in fine or high jewelry sales, ideally within a luxury retail or bespoke environment. Established network of loyal clients with proven ability to generate repeat business. Strong design sensibility and ability to interpret client aesthetics into product selections or custom creations. Self‑motivated, proactive, and entrepreneurial, with a proven ability to take initiative, identify opportunities, build lasting relationships, and drive business growth. Comfort with digital design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Rhino 3D, or similar platforms). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and storytelling skills. Highly organized with exceptional follow‑through and time management. Experience launching or leading within a concept or flagship retail environment is a plus. Bachelor’s degree or GIA accreditation preferred. Benefits Include

Full‑time in‑person role located in Soho NYC Monday to Friday Weekend availability (during busy season, sales, or events) 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the knowledge that we have a startup culture and your day may extend past listed hours Salary Description

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000, plus commission and discretionary bonus (expected total $75,000 - $200,000). Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate’s job duties, experience, and expertise. We will also consider higher level candidates and salary will be adjusted accordingly. How to Apply
