FLSA Status: Exempt
Schedule: Full-time; Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; some evenings and weekends required.

POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Video Creator creates compelling multimedia projects that help Franciscan University tell its story to prospective students, donors, conference attendees and other audiences. The Senior Video Creator takes a hands‑on approach to managing these projects from brief through delivery with key attention to University stakeholders. The SVC also combines both artistic vision and technical expertise to deliver these projects in line with Franciscan University’s mission to educate, evangelize and send forth joyful disciples.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Preproduce (consult with campus partners, schedule, scout locations, prep equipment, write scripts, create storyboards) University video projects.
Produce (set up, film, interview) University video projects.
Post produce (manage media, edit video, edit audio, color, create graphics, create thumbnails, create Shorts, review with campus partners, finalize) University video projects.
Conduct video production administrative tasks such as managing equipment, upkeep and management of media archive space.
