VP Content Strategy, Scheduling & Operations The
VP Content Strategy, Scheduling & Operations
position is responsible for strategizing program schedules and rollouts for a number of Weigel networks. The role collaborates with the SVP of Content Strategy, oversees day‑to‑day scheduling and operations, creates and manages event and stunt initiatives with the scheduling team, and coordinates with the Acquisitions Lead for future programming. The VP works with the Research Team to monitor network performance, adjust scheduling based on data, and track network competition.
Duties / Responsibilities
Passion for TV and movies with knowledge of various television genres, including classic TV.
Awareness of the TV landscape, including networks and additional platforms.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Utilize program management systems (preferred).
Other duties as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications
In‑office requirement.
10–12 years of increasing responsibility in programming television networks or local stations.
At least 5 years in a leadership role.

Salary The pay rate/range for this role is $100,000.00–$180,000.00 annually, with the final offer dependent on education, skills, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for union‑represented employees will align with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
