We’re looking for a curious, independent, and results-driven communicator with strong organizational and creative skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple projects and producing high-quality content across various channels.
As a key member of the Group Communication Department, the Communications Officer will support the strategic communication efforts of the Apave North America Division, aligned with the Group’s overarching communication priorities and 2030 strategy. This role encompasses both internal and external communications across the USA, Canada, UK, and Australia.
Key Responsibilities Community management, Social Media Manage the Division’s social media accounts (posting, engagement with followers, responding to DMs, etc.) and contribute to the Group’s corporate accounts. Report news from the countries within the Apave North America Division and share relevant Group news with those countries Ensure the effective functioning and content quality of the Division’s communications.
Content creation and development Create and write content for various media, including social media, websites, intranets Manage photo shoots, interviews, and video recordings, overseeing their editing and final publication Create and update communication tools and materials (brochures, flyers, etc.) for the Division, making them available to relevant stakeholders
Project and event management Develop and implement a communication plan(s) for the Division, according to the Group and the Division’s priorities (communication and operational priorities), implementing the identified actions. Roll-out (or oversee the roll out of) Group actions and initiatives within the different markets in which the Division operates
A dedicated roadmap will be implemented for 2026 in connection with the launch of the new 2030 strategic plan “BOOST2”.
Support the organization of events, such as major trade fairs, exhibitions, inaugurations, anniversaries, etc.
Brand Management Ensure all communications adhere to the Group’s brand style guidelines. Monitor the proper use of the company brand and logo(s) across all materials and platforms.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (2–5 years of higher education) Proven experience in a similar communications role, ideally in a corporate or international setting Professional fluency in English; French is a plus Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (especially InDesign and Illustrator) Interest in emerging communication platforms and trends
