We’re looking for a creative that’s also a maker – one that will concept and is ready to grab a camera and go create content. This role will join a team of account people, strategists, designers, writers and producers to create social, print, video, digital content and more. We are seeking an

Associate Creative Director

(Art) with a strong foundation in Art Direction and integrated marketing campaign experience. The ideal candidate is highly conceptual, visually driven, and strategic, taking projects from brief to completion. Providing new ideas and creativity, while leading the work in crafting compelling brand narratives across multiple touchpoints. You’ll also be comfortable pushing boundaries and thinking conceptually about new initiatives. This role is based in Chicago as a hybrid position, requiring in‑office 2‑3 days a week. What you will be doing:

Lead the development of integrated campaigns across digital, social, print, experiential, and traditional media. Provide art direction and creative vision, ensuring cohesive storytelling and impactful design. Partner closely with the creative and strategy teams to conceptualise groundbreaking ideas that drive engagement and deliver results. Oversee and mentor designers and junior creatives, fostering a culture of inspiration and excellence. Collaborate with copywriters and marketing professionals to ensure messaging and visuals align seamlessly. Present and pitch creative concepts to clients, advocating for bold and innovative solutions. Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and cultural movements to keep our work fresh and relevant. Maintain high standards of creative excellence while balancing business objectives. Create and manage scalable design systems and components to drive consistency and effectiveness across mediums. Effectively manage workloads within agreed timeline. What you need to be great in this role:

7+ years of experience in advertising, with a strong background in Art Direction. Demonstrated ability to develop and lead integrated marketing campaigns. Exceptional conceptual thinking and visual storytelling skills. Full working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Experience presenting and selling creative ideas to clients. A portfolio showcasing a range of impactful, multi‑channel campaigns. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent illustration skills. Managing art pipelines working to tight deadlines. A thorough understanding of photography, typography and printing. Ability to adapt your art style. The ability to take projects from concept to completion, with a history of translating strategic thinking into compelling, visual ideas. Deep knowledge & production experience with integrated and digital campaigns. Brilliant communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Must be over 21+ years old. At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $114,750.00 to $128,250.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
