Overview As a Senior Analyst, you’ll manage the tactical components within integrated Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns, commonly known as Paid Search or Pay‑per‑Click (PPC). Working with Google, Microsoft, Yahoo and others, you’ll support strategy, planning and reporting for Digitas clients.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for SEM challenges, solving issues to achieve and exceed campaign goals.
Build and present concise program readouts of performance against key business metrics.
Manage full SEM lifecycle: keyword development, ad creative, trafficking recommendations, optimization, budgeting, and pacing.
Actively participate in meetings, proactively identifying campaign opportunities and issues.
Assimilate data from multiple sources, compile insights, and deliver actionable conclusions.
Optimize bid strategy, monitor KPIs, thresholds, and budget caps; manage budget and pacing.
Translate campaign and client goals into strategic SEM tactics and execute them effectively.
Implement Paid Search best practices, refine and optimize campaigns, and identify execution issues.
Monitor emerging industry trends and summarize findings for stakeholders.
Leverage and develop proficiency with SEM platforms, tools, and resources.
Develop campaign ad copy (text titles, descriptions, or feed-based images) and tag traffic or creative elements per creative rotation instructions.
Qualifications
4‑year degree and 2‑4 years of analytical or digital marketing experience, preferably in SEM.
Strong ability to work closely within a team structure to problem solve, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Advanced skills in Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Yahoo Gemini, and third‑party tools such as DoubleClick.
Strong client‑management and presentation skills.
Expertise in managing media buys with strong quantitative and research skills.
Proven ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Detail‑oriented and organized approach to achieving objectives.
Excellent communication skills—clear, concise, and thorough.
Passion for the industry, relationship building, and contributing to team success.
Confidence and willingness to collaborate across the organization.
Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini) for ideation, research, or content creation is a plus.
Additional Information Compensation Range: $59,850 – $82,740 annually. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k) with match, paid time off, parental leave, family care assistance, tuition reimbursement, and flexible time off.
