nuHaus, an award-winning kitchen and interior architecture design firm, is seeking a Custom cabinetry and Kitchen Design professional to join our Chicago office. This is a unique opportunity to work with our creative design team on complex, highly customized projects to develop original ideas for extraordinary interior environments for our clients.
Under the direction of the senior design team, AutoCAD LT and SketchUp are used extensively throughout the creative process to design and integrate cabinetry and millwork into interior spaces. This is not a remote position and requires work to be performed onsite at our 445 N Wells Street location in Chicago. The opportunity to work remotely some of the time is available once training is complete.

Qualifications
Experienced and passionate about kitchen and millwork design, space planning and interior architecture
Creative and innovative approach to design
Natural ability to build relationships with clients and architectural/design community
Understanding of luxury lifestyle, clients’ priorities and expectations, confident and discrete
Advance skills in drawing architectural millwork and cabinetry
High proficiency in AutoCAD LT, SketchUp and Microsoft Office products
Working knowledge of interior architecture, millwork engineering and cabinet construction
A degree from an accredited program in interior design, architecture or similar formal technical training helpful, but not mandatory
Familiar with metric dimensions
Ability to create, check and process cabinetry orders
Ability to interpret architect drawings, read blueprints
Skilled to coordinate multiple projects, ability to multi-task
Positive attitude, work as part of the team and collaborative
Professional demeaner and polished presence
