Overview
Kleinfelder’s Design team is looking for a detail-oriented Mining/Civil Site Design Project Manager to join our southeast engineering team. The project work will be multi-disciplinary in nature, with experience in mine planning, resource management, reclamation, and stormwater management especially relevant. This is a hybrid office role and can be in Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Atlanta, GA; Jacksonville, FL; Orlando, FL; or Tampa, FL. Key responsibilities
Managing project execution including proposal development, project organization, subcontractor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and delivery quality Overseeing pursuits, designating appropriate resources to projects, defining client needs, addressing client concerns and suggesting solutions to project challenges Leading technical, cost, and scheduling decisions for interdisciplinary teams and driving customer value Nurturing and growing client relationships Supporting the achievement of professional staff’s career goals Education/Certification
Required: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) Skills & Experience
Experience in leading multi-disciplinary design, permitting and construction Ability to actively develop and maintain client relationships Capability to assess and resolve issues and conflicts Understanding of financial management concepts 6+ years of related experience in mining or industrial projects, including 2+ years of project management experience Consulting experience is preferred Move Forward with Kleinfelder
