Overview

The Brand Packaging Associate Project Manager serves as the operational coordinator that executes packaging across multiple product categories. You will manage and deliver brand packaging assets to creative, merchandising, visual and printer vendors to ensure designs are executed on schedule. The role focuses heavily on project management aligned to the brand calendar to guarantee on‑time deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day‑to‑day brand packaging production responsibilities, including overall process and timelines – emphasis on food & beverage packaging.
  • Lead design reproduction: advise designers on vendor printing capabilities, review layouts for compliance, communicate color & artwork requirements, approve digital & physical proofs, and confirm printed TOP samples.
  • Oversee vendor performance/execution: communicate packaging component & assembly details, review samples, and manage QA.
  • Administer prepress process: schedule workflow, analyze color proofs, and direct color corrections.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Graphic Arts, Advertising, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1+ years of project management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet & Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Basic understanding of printing processes and packaging materials.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, problem‑solving and planning skills.
  • Self‑motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Ability to work onsite in the San Francisco office 4 days per week.
