Senior Web Developer

Position: Senior Web Developer
Location: Acton, MA (Hybrid 2‑3 days on‑site)
Project Duration: 3‑month contract with possibility of extension.
Rate: Negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain new and existing functionality within the Drupal CMS.
• Collaborate with QA and IT teams to ensure code quality, security, and performance.
• Participate in agile planning, estimation, and iterative releases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack.
• Contribute to automation tools for testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Maintain clear documentation for code, workflows, and processes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders using tools like Jira.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
• Foster an inclusive, team‑oriented environment.

Required Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience as a Drupal developer, with recent experience in Drupal 9/10.
• Strong PHP 8.x development skills and deep understanding of Drupal APIs.
• Experience with Drupal theming, Twig, HTML, CSS/SASS, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and version control tools such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Mulesoft is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the Salesforce platform (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, APIs).
• Acquia Certified Developer (or higher) and experience with Acquia hosting.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
