Senior Web Developer

Position: Senior Web Developer
Location: Acton, MA (Hybrid 2‑3 days on‑site)
Project Duration: 3‑month contract with possibility of extension.
Rate: Negotiable based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain new and existing functionality within the Drupal CMS.
 - Collaborate with QA and IT teams to ensure code quality, security, and performance.
 - Participate in agile planning, estimation, and iterative releases.
 - Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack.
 - Contribute to automation tools for testing, deployment, and monitoring.
 - Maintain clear documentation for code, workflows, and processes.
 - Communicate effectively with stakeholders using tools like Jira.
 - Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
 - Foster an inclusive, team‑oriented environment.
 
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience as a Drupal developer, with recent experience in Drupal 9/10.
 - Strong PHP 8.x development skills and deep understanding of Drupal APIs.
 - Experience with Drupal theming, Twig, HTML, CSS/SASS, and responsive design.
 - Familiarity with JavaScript and version control tools such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
 - Understanding of Agile methodologies.
 - Experience with Mulesoft is a plus.
 
Preferred Skills
- Experience with the Salesforce platform (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, APIs).
 - Acquia Certified Developer (or higher) and experience with Acquia hosting.
 - Strong written communication and documentation skills.
 - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
