Digital Sports Reporter/Anchor/Producer – Sinclair Inc.
Join Sinclair Inc. (Sinclair Broadcasting Group) as a Full‑time Digital Sports Reporter/Anchor/Producer in the Salt Lake City market. The role supports KUTV/Talkin’ Sports, KMYU, and KJZZ, producing high‑quality digital content, live sports broadcasts, podcasts, and on‑air coverage of Utah’s professional, college, and high‑school teams.
Responsibilities
- Produce, script, shoot, and edit multimedia content for digital platforms and broadcast television.
- Create podcasts, digital features, and live webcasts of games and events.
- Anchor and report on live sports coverage, including play‑by‑play, sideline reporting, and color commentary.
- Maintain a strong social media presence to engage audiences and generate story ideas.
- Coordinate with the Digital/Sports app team on content creation and scheduling.
- Work in rapid‑fire environments and balance multiple projects to meet tight deadlines.
Skills & Experience
- Extensive digital content creation experience.
- Self‑starter who develops daily story ideas.
- Strong storytelling and enterprise reporting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in multimedia production (videography, editing, on‑air delivery).
- Active social media and digital strategy knowledge.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least two years of digital creation and on‑air experience.
- Previous experience producing, anchoring, and reporting for broadcast television.
- Live‑reporting experience required.
- Team‑oriented work style.
- Ability to produce digital content, shoot stories, highlights, and interviews.
