Job Description Summary
Supports and assists the Community Manager in overseeing and managing the financial and operational facets of the community by completing accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing monthly close‑out and financial reports, processing invoices for payment, collecting rent, fees, and other payments, completing bank deposits, dispositions, and account reconciliations, and using the property management software to record, track, and report on all financial workings of the community.

- Completes the daily transactions related to the financial operation of the community by collecting and posting rent, fees, and other payments, preparing daily bank deposits and reconciling bank accounts, preparing financial reports, and processing invoices and payables.
- Operates the property management software (Yardi/OneSite) and ensures transaction accuracy and data integrity.
- Reviews resident files and accounting records to determine unpaid or late fees, communicates with residents regarding outstanding balances, implements collection procedures, and enforces the lease to maximize revenue.
- Review and submit invoices from vendors and contractors, reconcile work performed or products purchased, obtain manager approval, code charges, and manage communication among vendor, accounting, and client/owner.
- Follows the company’s established procedures related to evictions, including proper notice requirements and representation in court hearings.
- Processes resident move‑outs, applies deposit and cancellation fees, and follows procedures and legal requirements.
- Promotes resident satisfaction by responding to complaints, questions, and requests in a timely manner and resolving service issues.
- Acts as on‑site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager, coordinating maintenance and make‑ready tasks and managing daily operations per company policies.
- Assists in managing the client/owner relationship by meeting owners, conducting community tours, providing updates on performance, and responding to owner requests.
Physical Demands
- Stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, crawl in confined areas.
- Work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
- Push, pull, lift, carry or manoeuvre weights up to 25 lbs independently and 50 lbs with assistance.
- Travel required for training, meetings, or support to other properties.
- Work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
The hourly range for this position is $22.00 – $24.00.
Additional Compensation
- Corporate Positions: base salary plus quarterly or annual bonus program based on performance.
- Onsite Property Positions: base salary plus weekly, monthly, or quarterly bonus programs.
