Graphic Designer II (Part Time) Job at Peak Performers in Princeton

Peak Performers has partnered with a global medical device company to assist in their search for a part-time graphic designer in Princeton, NJ. In this position you will be responsible for creating design solutions with high visual impact.

Major Duties

• Design and production of corporate projects including advertising, catalogs, brochures, posters, websites, product packaging, exhibitions, displays, corporate communications, identity, product photography, and exhibit graphics.
• Work to a creative brief agreed with the customer, graphics manager, or marketing communication manager.
• Develop creative ideas and concepts within approved branding guidelines to meet customer objectives.
• Gather information and materials to prepare work.
• Plan concept by studying information and materials.
• Illustrate concept by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, typeface, style, and related aesthetic concepts.
• Obtain approval of concept by submitting rough layouts for approval.
• Prepare and package final layouts ensuring bleeds, colors, and typography are accurate.
• Assist with related tasks such as document preparation, SOPs, mailings, training binders, and trade‑show material.

Qualifications

• 4‑6 years of graphic design experience in print, traditional media, and data graphics.
• Experience creating multi‑page brochures.
• Experience with large trade‑show graphics is a big plus.
• Mac user with proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Proficient in peripherals: removable media, scanners, CD and DVD burners.
• Proficient in font‑management software: Extensis Suitcase Fusion and Font Explorer X.
• Knowledge of Macromedia Dreamweaver, Final Cut Pro, and SharePoint Server.
• Knowledge of web‑design coding and layout: HTML, CSS, and CMS systems.
• Graphic‑design degree is a plus.

Opportunity Details

• Rate: $32.45/hour
• W2 contract
• Worksite location: Princeton, NJ (onsite)
• Part‑time role working 3 days a week
• 2‑month contract
