Job Description

We are looking for talented and self‑motivated photographers to join our team in Long Island area hospitals. This position offers consistent income throughout the year with commission‑based, part‑time employment and a flexible schedule, allowing you to continue working on your own photography.

Bella Baby provides intensive training and onboarding. Successful completion of a pre‑employment background check, drug/health screening, and current Flu and COVID vaccine status is required.

Responsibilities

• Capture newborn, family, and sibling portraits in a natural, artistic style during hospital stays.
• Compose images by understanding posing, framing, white balance, and off‑camera flash for visually pleasing photographs.
• Provide direction and initiate comfort for clients while maintaining a friendly, patient demeanor.
• Communicate effectively and manage time efficiently across multiple assignments.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of DSLR cameras.
• Portfolio with links to Instagram handle or Facebook page; experience with newborn, family, or wedding photography preferred.
• Proficiency in Lightroom.
• Own or willingness to purchase a laptop for editing.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment background check, drug/health screening, and flu/COVID vaccine status.
• Background in sales is a plus.

Compensation & Schedule

Salary: $25.00–$40.00 per hour, plus tips.

Schedule: 8‑hour day shift, Monday–Friday, weekends as needed; holidays and special events as required.
