Public Relations Manager

Ulteig is seeking an experienced communication leader to oversee the day‑to‑day implementation of corporate thought leadership and public relations plans. The role focuses on executive visibility, corporate awards, media relations and social media engagement while collaborating closely with senior corporate communications, marketing, cross‑functional teams and agency partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute external communication strategies that support Ulteig’s corporate strategy, growth and business objectives.
  • Advance Ulteig’s thought‑leadership platform through strategic content, speaker opportunities and industry engagement.
  • Manage media relations strategies: build and maintain relationships with priority media outlets, monitor industry trends, and identify opportunities to enhance credibility and trust.
  • Create compelling narratives and content campaigns that showcase Ulteig’s expertise across owned external channels.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to deepen trust with key stakeholders through conferences, events, traditional and digital media.
  • Produce dynamic social media and digital content to promote Ulteig news and opportunities.
  • Assess earned media and thought‑leadership opportunities for strategic relevance and value to the business.
  • Provide thought‑leadership coaching and support to employees to maximize earned media and social engagement potential.
  • Collaborate with agency partners, marketing, brand and business teams to ensure a consistent, integrated voice, tone and channel approach.
  • Act as a key player on the crisis response team when necessary.
  • Measure success of communications and programs through key metrics, including media coverage tracking and campaign results.
  • Support internal communications initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations and/or marketing communications.
  • Proven success building and activating external communication strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Experience leading high‑value thought‑leadership and earned media strategies.
  • Strong writing skills for a variety of content styles, including bylines, speaking notes and social media.
  • Demonstrated media‑relations competency: relationship‑building, strategic thinking, and creativity.
  • Ability to work effectively across a wide range of communication channels.
  • Passionate storyteller who understands the importance of tone and brand voice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and project‑management skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Flexibility to respond to media events outside of standard business hours.
  • Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple complex projects on‑time and within budget.
  • Individual contributor; direct people‑management responsibilities not included.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $91,100 – $123,200 per year. Compensation is based on experience, education, location, and market comparables.

Additional Information
