About the role

Focuz is looking for an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to take complete ownership of the design for their entire platform. This role requires expert-level mastery of Figma and a specific focus on creating high-fidelity, functional prototypes that are ready for engineers to build. We are looking for a specialist who understands that good design is essential for driving seamless user engagement in traditionally cumbersome systems (like legacy factory or restaurant management).

Main responsibilities

• Platform Design and Prototyping: Create and manage the full, interactive, high-fidelity Figma prototype for the entire platform experience.
• Design System: Build and maintain the scalable Figma Design System and component library.
• UX Planning: Define the UX flows, information architecture, and wireframes to ensure a logical and seamless user journey.
• User Research: Conduct research, create user personas, and apply User-Centered Design principles to ensure all design decisions solve real user and business problems.

What you need to bring

• 5+ years of professional UX/UI experience
• Proven expert proficiency in Figma for UI, prototyping, and Design System management.
• Proven experience designing for complex, data-heavy, or legacy enterprise systems (e.g., legacy restaurant or factory management systems).
• Hands-on collaboration with developers to ensure accurate, high-quality implementation of designs.
• Proven track record of accurately scoping, estimating, and meeting design deadlines.
• Familiarity with AI tools (like Midjourney, DALL-E) to speed up the creative process.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills for effective remote collaboration.
