Topcon’s Institute for Digital Health (IDHea) is a critical part of our healthcare initiative, accelerating research by democratizing unique real‑world ocular data for AI innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and dynamic user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript.
• Build scalable back‑end services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data flow between front‑end and back‑end systems.
• Design and extend content models to support evolving portal features.
• Implement and maintain structured data using relational databases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and deliver product features.
• Apply best practices in code quality, performance optimization, and security.
• Utilize Azure services for deployment and cloud‑based application management.
• Leverage Docker for containerization and development workflows (preferred).
• Explore and integrate Content Management Systems (CMS) as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years experience as a web developer.
• Proven experience with Angular, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of front‑end and back‑end integration.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and deployment fundamentals.
• Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker and containerized development.
• Exposure to CMS platforms such as Strapi, Contentful, or WordPress.
• Experience with UX and UI designs for web portals.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay: Expected Base Pay Range: $100,000 to $135,000 Annualized. Bonus: 5% annual bonus eligibility.
