Compensation:

$80,000 to $87,000 per year, depending on experience

Position Summary The Digital Marketing Strategist is responsible for executing the digital fundraising and marketing strategies for World Concern. Works with the World Concern marketing team to develop and support digital marketing content and strategy, including digital advertising, social media (paid and organic), email marketing (content and execution), Google AdWords, and other digital campaigns to maximize visibility, conversions, and donor acquisition to meet and exceed strategic marketing goals for World Concern.

Essential Functions (General overview and may not include all details of responsibilities)

Responsibilities

Increase brand awareness and boost the online presence of World Concern’s ministry through consistent, compelling digital content and marketing strategies.

Collaborate with WC marketing team members and leadership to develop digital content strategies.

Oversee the strategy and execution of paid and organic digital marketing campaigns including social media, email, and PPC for World Concern, collaborating with outside consultants and agencies where those relationships exist.

Systematically test and evaluate campaign effectiveness, regularly report to WC marketing leadership on performance, and modify based on results.

Support the digital elements of current multichannel donor campaigns, including web/donation page content for monthly direct mail appeals and newsletters, radio fundraising campaigns, and email newsletter campaigns. Maximize effectiveness with a unified message, using the best digital channels and strategies to achieve results.

Ensure all campaigns involve an email strategy and work with content strategists to create or oversee creation of copy, design, delivery, and reporting.

Manage digital asset management system (Pics.io), ensuring World Concern’s digital assets are cataloged, tagged, organized, and archived to enable teams across the ministry to utilize stories, images, and video content for ministry promotion and growth.

Work with Director of Web Design and Development to maintain, update, and revise content on World Concern’s websites to maximize visibility, engagement, and conversions.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers, and customers. Conduct that reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC).

Essential Qualifications

CHRIST CENTERED:

Belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior; committed Christian with ongoing spiritual growth; prayerfully seeks God’s will; engages ministry through prayer and spiritual practices; aligns with CRISTA’s Statement of Faith and CCC.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

EXPERIENCE:

Three years of demonstrated experience in digital marketing, fundraising, or related skills; one year of experience using Google Analytics; three years of experience with email marketing; expertise in leveraging social media for visibility; nonprofit fundraising or marketing experience a plus.

SOFTWARE / EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:

MS Office; Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and/or other design software; HubSpot or similar email software; ability to learn web editing software and Salesforce (donor database).

EDUCATION (PREFERRED):

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication or related field.

EXPERIENCE (PREFERRED):

Three years in fundraising, advertising or marketing agency experience; familiarity with nonprofit fundraising, donor acquisition, and campaign optimization.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS (PREFERRED):

An eye for digital content that produces results.
