Role Overview We are looking for a

UI/UX Manager

to lead our design function and elevate the user experience across Channelwill’s product suite. You will be responsible for shaping intuitive, elegant, and scalable user interfaces that make complex workflows simple for merchants and deliver a world‑class experience to their end customers.

You’ll manage a small but growing design team, collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing, and set the design standards that scale as we grow globally.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the UI/UX design team and establish design best practices, processes, and standards.

Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to define product requirements and user journeys.

Advocate for user‑centric design across the company.

Product Design

Own the end‑to‑end design process—from user research, wireframing, and prototyping to final UI.

Create intuitive interfaces for SaaS dashboards, Shopify app integrations, and merchant‑facing portals.

Ensure consistency of design language across multiple product lines (post‑purchase, loyalty, reviews, protection).

User Research & Testing

Conduct usability testing, A/B testing, and interviews to gather merchant and shopper insights.

Cross‑functional Collaboration

Work closely with developers to ensure design fidelity during implementation.

Partner with Marketing to ensure visual identity aligns across product and brand touchpoints.

Team Development

Mentor junior designers and grow the design team’s capabilities.

Manage external design resources when needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher

in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, or related field.

2+ years of professional UI/UX experience , with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.

Strong portfolio showcasing SaaS or eCommerce platform design work.

Deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem and merchant workflows is a plus.

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Experience with user research, usability testing, and data‑driven design.

Excellent communication and cross‑team collaboration skills.

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment.
