Overview: One of Insight Global's higher education clients is seeking a UX Researcher to join their academic innovation team! This researcher will play a key role in defining how students engage with academic programs by conducting product discovery research, refining existing insights, and translating complex academic structures into clear, actionable frameworks. The ideal candidate has experience conducting stakeholder interviews, synthesizing qualitative data, and communicating nuanced information in digestible formats for internal audiences.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Review and refine initial interviews conducted with academic program leaders.
Create visual and written representations of research findings using tools such as Figma, Photoshop, or Excel.
Support the development of dynamic, student-facing tools by laying the groundwork for future data architecture
Translate complex academic data into clear, actionable insights for internal documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data architects and product researchers.

Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in UX research, particularly in academic or EdTech environments.
Strong qualitative research skills including stakeholder interviews and synthesis.
Ability to simplify complex systems and communicate clearly across teams.
Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Tableau, Figma, or Photoshop.
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, short-term project.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Prior experience working in higher education.
Background in instructional design, curriculum development, or academic program analysis.
Experience supporting product discovery or innovation initiatives in education technology.
