Technical Writer (Secret Clearance) Job Type: Direct Hire Job ID: 11431 Location: Alexandria, VA Our client is seeking a Technical Writer for a direct hire opportunity in Alexandria, VA. Description The Technical Writer will be responsible for collecting and organizing data and information in preparation for documents, training materials, and deployment guides. This includes conducting research on highly technical subject matter, organizing information from multiple sources, and expressing technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience. The person will primarily work on documentation and will need to collaborate with technical staff to interpret information for both technical and non-technical users. Responsibilities also include technical editing of documentation, adhering to style guides and formatting standards. The role may involve developing diagrams, drawings, and interpreting engineering drawings into documentation. Additionally, designing and developing graphics and illustrations for technical materials, manuals, and publications may be required. Providing recommendations on formats and communication channels to the team and customer will be advantageous. Requirements Strong technical writing and presentation skills (white papers, manuals, instructions, etc.) 3-5 years of relevant experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Active Secret Government Clearance Level or higher Please Note Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
