We’re seeking a passionate and highly creative Associate Creative Director, Copy, to lead and inspire our team. You’re a strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing compelling and effective copy for the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. You understand marketing principles, advertising best practices, and can translate complex scientific information into clear and engaging messaging. You’re a natural leader, a skilled communicator, and a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do

Be responsible for on-brand creative concepts for assigned projects, working closely with copy partner, and ensure consistency of concepts across tactics. Grasp the creative brief for core insight and ensure creative is aligned with strategy, with emphasis on HCP insights and objectives. Work closely with art partner and guide teams to stay focused on the big idea. Contribute award-worthy concepts and recommendations to execute ideas relevant to the HCP landscape. Lead production efforts and manage within budget or justify increases as needed. Foster strong client relationships and spot opportunities to enhance or upsell a project. Present confidently to clients and communicate how creative work meets strategic and business objectives. Manage multiple projects for various brands with different scopes and ensure deadlines are met. Craft compelling copy across digital, print, video, and social channels. Ensure copy is accurate, compliant, and aligned with brand guidelines. Mentor and develop junior copywriters, sharing expertise in HCP communication best practices. Who You Are

5-7 years of relevant client or agency experience with 3-5 years of supervisory experience. A portfolio that demonstrates creative and conceptual thinking and award-winning copy in healthcare/pharma. Ability to translate complex scientific information into clear and engaging copy. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Strong understanding of marketing principles and advertising best practices. What We Offer

Salary range: base salary USD $75,000 – $180,000 (varies by location, responsibilities, experience). Hybrid work model: office ~4 days/week. EEO: VML is an equal opportunity employer.
