Computer System Analyst III (Cybersecurity Technical Writer)
ESN is seeking a Computer System Analyst III (Cybersecurity Technical Writer) to support a contract with Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), Atlantic, in Norfolk, VA. The contract to support NIWC LANT consists of Independent Validation & Verification, Operations, Sustainment, and Installation support. The Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM) systems provide near real-time material-based readiness reporting to the Defense Readiness Reporting System-Navy (DRRS-N) and provides three additional primary capabilities to the Fleet including Ashore and Afloat systems. This support includes automated software testing, Scrum Master support, operating in the AWS Cloud, management of JIRA/Confluence, Cyber compliance, and project support. Located on site in Chesapeake, VA. Duties: Technical Writing pertaining to all forms of Cyber compliance documentation. Conduct security audits on IT infrastructure and manage appropriate scans and STIG checklists. Schedule is Monday through Friday with some weekend support required. Performs other duties and works schedules as assigned by management, which may include changes to duties, responsibilities, or work hours as required to meet contractual obligations, mission requirements, or the needs of the organization. Minimal Requirements Required Education:
High School diploma/GED related military experience, or trade/industrial school graduate. Required certification:
Security+ Preferred Certifications:
AWS Security Certification Specialty and Certified Information Systems Security Professional Experience:
Five (5) years of Computerized System experience, to include: Design, Development, Test and Evaluation, Network Protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX and Windows based operating system. Specific Experience:
Two (2) years' experience conducting security audits on IT infrastructure and managing appropriate scans and STIG checklists. Exceptional Technical Writing skills pertaining to all forms of Cyber compliance documentation. Security Clearance:
Must hold an active Department of Defense SECRET clearance.
