Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Specialist to develop and implement social media strategies for JDA and our clients. The role requires close collaboration with Digital, Creative, and Account Service teams to increase online presence and support marketing and sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute social strategies across Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms to align with client goals and brand voice.
Create and manage a content calendar: plan, schedule, and publish engaging content that drives awareness, engagement, and conversion.
Write and edit short‑form content optimized for each channel, collaborating with copywriters, designers, and the creative team to ensure all assets are compelling and on‑brand.
Monitor performance metrics and report regularly on key social KPIs, insights, and opportunities to internal teams and clients.
Participate in client meetings to discuss campaign goals, performance updates, and content direction.
Stay ahead of trends by researching emerging platforms, formats, and best practices to inform strategy and inspire fresh ideas.
Conduct competitor and audience research to identify content opportunities and inform messaging.
Engage and grow online communities by monitoring conversations, responding to comments, and fostering meaningful engagement.
Support influencer and partnership efforts: identify, vet, and coordinate with influencers to extend campaign reach.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Digital Marketing, Account Service, and Creative teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
Recommend optimizations based on analytics, audience feedback, and industry trends.
Support partners with boosted‑post recommendations (audience, timing, post content).
Qualifications
2–3 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
Proven experience using social media for brand awareness and impressions.
Strong knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and other platforms.
Familiarity with boosting posts and using social scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite).
Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
Experience conducting audience and buyer persona research.
Strong understanding of social media KPIs.
Excellent time‑management, multitasking, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills.
