West Hartford Public Schools seeks to fill the position of a Tutor for Students with Visual Impairment. The ideal candidate will support students with Braille instruction, collaborate with BESB regarding needed equipment, and help make modifications to class materials. The candidate will also assist students and teachers in determining the most appropriate materials to represent concept competency. As needed, the tutor will collaborate regarding accommodations and instructional support with Special Education Teachers, Teachers of the Visually Impaired, and Team Teachers.
