Job Overview ROMTech is transforming post‑surgical recovery through cutting‑edge remote rehabilitation technology. We’re looking for a Junior Instructional Designer to help build engaging, accessible, and impactful learning experiences for our internal teams and external partners through ROMTech University and the Academy.

Responsibilities

Create SCORM‑compliant e‑learning modules, assessments, and interactive content for diverse audiences.

Support the design and upkeep of certification programs focused on role‑specific development and compliance.

Translate complex technical and operational information into clear, engaging training materials across formats (video, visual, written, interactive).

Maintain a centralized training library with version control and accessibility standards.

Update learning content in response to product changes, regulatory updates, and SOP revisions.

Use learner feedback and usage data to continuously improve training effectiveness.

Ensure all content is inclusive, user‑friendly, and outcome‑driven.

Collaborate with SMEs, trainers, and operational leaders to validate instructional quality and accuracy.

Align learning objectives with performance outcomes to drive behavior change and operational impact.

Success Metrics

Timely delivery of assigned content projects.

High accuracy and quality of learning materials.

Strong learner engagement and positive feedback.

Proper maintenance of version‑controlled training resources.

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in instructional design, training, or content development (internships or academic projects welcome).

Experience in healthcare, MedTech, SaaS, or operationally complex environments is a plus.

Portfolio or samples of training projects (academic or professional) preferred.

Foundational knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.

Proficiency with AI tools and prompt engineering to boost creativity and productivity.

Familiarity with e‑learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, etc.).

Basic understanding of LMS platforms and SCORM/xAPI standards.

Ability to simplify complex information into digestible, learner‑friendly formats.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.

Moderate noise (i.e., phone calls, online meetings, computer audio).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.

Regular, predictable attendance is required.
