Reports To:
Design Manager
Job Purpose To support the sales success of MBA by providing support to the Design Team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the design team with all aspects of the design process from conception to completion (drafting, appointments, quotes, data entry into our CRM, etc.)
Create accurate Existing Condition Drawings, Permit Drawings, and other construction documents using Chief Architect program
Possess competency in all aspects of interior design and general construction
Sketch, measure, and photo existing field conditions
Input and redline existing condition field measurements into Chief Architect, using the current drafting standards
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients
Continually develop new skills, knowledge, and utilize technology to fulfill responsibilities
Participate in tradeshows, seminars, & other events as requested
Minimum Requirements
Associate’s in Interior Design, Bachelor's in Interior Design or equivalent certification
2 years of residential drafting experience preferred
Proficient in Auto CAD or other equivalent 3D drafting software (Chief Architect a plus)
Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
Construction knowledge a plus
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to successfully manage several projects at a time
Perform duties in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner
Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills
Have your own transportation, valid class E driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to transport yourself and materials between job sites
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
Ability to talk and hear; stand and sit for extended periods of time, walk, kneel, bend, work with your hands, and move up to 30 lbs. independently
