Base Pay Range

$95,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research, field studies, and usability testing with growers and field operators to identify needs and pain points, integrating findings into design improvements.
  • Lead the design of both UX and UI components, delivering seamless and visually appealing interfaces across Carbon Robotics products.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other team members to create and iterate on user?centered designs.
  • Assess and recommend design software and tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) for prototypes and final designs.
  • Travel to the field to observe and interact with end users in their actual work environment; willingness to travel up to 25% of the time is required.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer with strong proficiency in design software (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar).
  • Experience working in agriculture or other field?based industries, providing insight into unique customer challenges.
  • Previous design experience in robotics, IoT, or physical products that involve field conditions, durability, and real?world functionality.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI software design skills and showing the process from user research to final designs.
