On Cue Hire is seeking a Booking Producer for a full-time, onsite position in Boca Raton, FL with a broadcast news organization. To apply, you should have a background in booking politicians for TV segments. 
As a Booking Producer for our client, you will be an important part of the production team, responsible for securing high-caliber guests for our clients' broadcasts. Your role involves identifying, researching, and booking guests that align with the client's brand and programming needs. You will work closely with the Executive Producer and other team members to ensure that the content delivered is engaging, relevant, and of the highest quality.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Booking Producer for our client, you will be an important part of the production team, responsible for securing high-caliber guests for our clients' broadcasts. Your role involves identifying, researching, and booking guests that align with the client's brand and programming needs. You will work closely with the Executive Producer and other team members to ensure that the content delivered is engaging, relevant, and of the highest quality.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Guest Identification & Booking: Collaborate with the Executive Producer and production team to identify and book top-tier guests, including news leaders, politicians, experts, officials and more for on-air appearances.
 - Research & Outreach: Conduct thorough research on potential guests, including background checks and content relevance, and engage in outreach to secure their participation.
 - Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of industry contacts, including publicists, press secretaries, communications directors, agents, managers, and other representatives.
 - Guest Vetting & Pre-Interviews: Conduct pre-interviews and vet potential guests to ensure they meet the client's standards for on-air appearances.
 - Logistics Coordination: Confirm all logistical details for guest appearances, including date, time, and location, whether remote, by phone, on-field, or in-studio.
 - Interview Preparation: Provide guests with interview topics, areas of discussion, and any other pertinent information to ensure a smooth and productive appearance.
 - Exclusive Content: Secure exclusive interviews and content that align with the client's programming strategy and audience expectations.
 - Idea Generation: Ideate and pitch guest ideas to the production team, ensuring a steady pipeline of engaging and relevant content.
 - Quality Assurance: Ensure that all booked guests are of the caliber and quality consistent with the client's brand.
 - Industry Awareness: Stay informed of current events, trends, and emerging voices to bring fresh and relevant perspectives to the client's programming.
 - On-Air Communication: Clearly communicate all on-air appearance requirements to guests to ensure they are well-prepared and meet the client's standards.
 
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in booking or producing for a news network or similar environment. preference to candidates who would be coming with a background in booking politicians
 - Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills; strong research abilities; ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
 - Network: Established connections with a wide range of newsmakers, experts, and public figures.
 - Passion for News: A deep understanding of and passion for news, current events, and media trends.
 - Flexibility: Willingness to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as news events dictate.
 
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Political Science, or a related field.
 - Technical Skills: Proficiency in newsroom software and tools.
