We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play-By-Play Announcer to commentate basketball, baseball, soccer, arena football, and hockey games for adult and youth leagues. The ideal candidate will possess strong vocal skills and a passion for sports, ensuring excitement and maintaining a positive environment for all participants. This role requires effective communication on the PA loud system to entertain players, coaches, and spectators during the game.

Duties

• Read Que cards, rosters, stats and announcements on the fly.
• Commentate games, ensuring everyone enjoys a night out watching sports.
• Communicate clearly to players, coaches, and spectators regarding in game ads, calls made and down & distance during the game.
• Announce big plays that may arise during games, promoting creative catch phrases and rememberable punchlines that participants will never forget.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of arena football rules and updates to ensure accurate information.
• Provide guidance, support and feedback to the live stream viewers, fostering their love for the game.
• Collaborate with refs, sports reporters and film crew to ensure smooth operation of games.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in announcing sporting events is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with children, players, coaches, and fans positively.
• Experience working with a film crew in a sports capacity is highly desirable.
• A passion for sports commentating and mentoring young announcers is a plus.
• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the U.S.
