The candidate will help our local productions technical operations team to achieve quality and success through their work as well as perform other duties as assigned by their manager.YOUR DAY-DAY: • Operation of various audio broadcast equipment • Digital and Analog audio consoles and peripheral equipment including patch bays and routers. • Setting up, checking, and ensuring that all microphones, audio and media playback are adjusted for proper VU levels and equalization. • FB mix minus, Telos Systems, COMREX and Cleanfeed. • Design and load in of all Studio and Exterior PA equipment. • Coordination of all RF/Wireless equipment (i.e. microphones, IFB and PL) as well as studio foldback • Provide immediate solutions in the event of equipment or other audio problems.YOU HAVE: • 4+ years of audio experience in a live television production environment • Strong knowledge and understanding of broadcast and production technology. • Must be available to work all shifts, including early mornings, evenings, holidays • Working knowledge of television production operation equipment, lighting teleprompter, and studio cameras. • Must be reliable and be able to work a flexible schedule. • Ability to communicate effectively and work well with people while under pressure. • Exceptional organizational, communication and interpersonal skills • Process & detail oriented • Strong computer skills • Technical aptitude and always willing to learn • Adaptable to change in technology and environment • May include standing for many hours, operating human lift equipment, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, etc.TelevisaUnivision is an equal opportunity employer.
