Publicis Groupe is searching for a talented individual to join the team and our bespoke agency for a globally recognized company known for its iconic brands across Snacking, Petcare and Food & Nutrition. This is a unique opportunity to partner with iconic brands on their marketing transformation journey. You will help enable the client to future-proof their business, whilst also being part of a Power of One model that integrates media, production, data & tech, social, influencer and commerce to create end-to-end PESO experiences. Overview
This role serves as the key liaison between the client (Mars), Marcel (our internal content platform) and account teams for all things related to content creation, strategy, and publishing in - leading content brainstorms, creative strategy, co-managing content calendars, client asks/needs, sourcing and curating content from all teams, working with creative teams through production, and proactively seeking out new content streams. The Content Strategist/Producer will work closely with the Marcel team and account team to ensure consistency in messaging from Publicis.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Goals:
- Partner with the Mars Segment team to create a strong content strategy
- Create a steady stream of constant content creation and publishing on Marcel according to the content strategy
- Evaluate and recommend ways to optimize content to polish quality and increase engagement
- If needed, create an Editorial Advisory Board to facilitate ideation and establish content calendars, production timelines, and enable members to continually source and create content
- Elevate content by working with client team and internal Publicis teams to reimagine materials (training materials and repackage existing content) to be bite-sized, snackable, and on-brand for the client
- Stay connected with the Marcel team to stay abreast of new features and platform evolutions on the roadmap
- Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Lead regular content brainstorms and planning meetings with the client team
- Develop and propose content opportunities according to the established strategy and cultural turning points happening at Mars
- Collaborate with Mars content publisher to get content uploaded through AEM
- Manage production timelines and creative deliverables
- Lead communication with clients to share progress, manage content calendars, and gain necessary approvals
- Onboarding Areas of Focus:
- Ways of working – establish a sustainable workflow between Mars and Publicis teams for continual content creation
- Seek out greater education and understanding of the fuller scope of work for Mars to understand vision, purpose, pillars, roadmap, capabilities, key breakthroughs, and potential content opportunities
- Platform – know the platform inside and out to fully grasp its capabilities and potential, and understand the Marcel feature evolution roadmap
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, ideally in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or a related field
- 7+ years of content strategy and production experience
- Ability to strategically plan campaigns from audience determination, through how to best flight and execute campaigns to align with clients strategic goals and KPIs
- Strong understanding of analytics to inform and validate planning and strategy
- Experience monitoring and recommending improvements and optimizations of existing content
- Excellent communication (written and verbal along with visual storytelling), diplomacy, and relationship building and decision making skills with the ability to think creatively

The benefits offerings listed are available to U.S. based employees and are governed by the terms of the applicable plan documents.
Compensation Range: $127,585 - $200,790 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant and the requirements of the position. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in the freelancer/temporary employee medical plan and 401(k) in certain circumstances.
