GrowthSpotter has an opening for a journalist to cover real estate and development in Orange and Seminole counties, the two most populous counties in the Orlando market. The GrowthSpotter role is part of a three‑person team that publishes an online newsletter with original content each weekday.

The Orlando‑Kissimmee‑Sanford MSA is one of the fastest‑growing and top job‑producing markets in the nation. This beat includes development in and around the Disney theme parks and International Drive tourism corridor, as well as the markets in Winter Park, Winter Garden (Horizon West), Apopka and Oviedo. The job requires someone with strong news judgment and research skills who can react quickly to breaking news as well as provide in-depth coverage of major issues.
