Bid Writer – Iron Mountain

Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic Bid Writer to join our Global Bid Team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of professional, persuasive, and high-impact proposals that secure exciting opportunities with both commercial and public sector clients.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, high‑performing bid team where your writing skills, creativity, and strategic thinking directly influence business growth by transforming complex solutions into clear, compelling stories.

What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)

• Develop and draft persuasive bid responses, including executive summaries and detailed tender content, that align with customer needs and key “win themes.”
• Collaborate with Bid Managers, Coordinators, and subject matter experts (SMEs) across the business to storyboard, refine, and strengthen proposal content.
• Ensure compliance by editing and polishing stakeholder inputs to maintain a consistent voice, clear messaging, and adherence to all submission and evaluation criteria.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

• Several years of experience in bid writing, proposal development, or a related role, spanning both public and commercial sector proposals.
• Strong knowledge of proposal management best practices and how to translate complex technical or functional expertise into clear, customer‑focused benefits.
• Proven ability in strategic thinking, persuasive storytelling, and exceptional editing skills to ensure high‑quality, professional deliverables.
• A degree in English, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience demonstrating advanced writing expertise.
