As a
Designer I , you’ll join our growing civil engineering team. The ideal candidate will assist in producing high-quality civil engineering designs and construction plans under the guidance of experienced engineers. This role offers exposure to a wide range of civil projects, from site development to infrastructure improvements.
Job Responsibilities:
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create engineered construction plans and sheet setups, including plan views, sections, elevations, and details.
Work closely with civil engineers to interpret design intent and translate it into accurate CAD drawings.
Assist in generating exhibits and plans for grading, drainage, road design, and erosion control.
Follow internal and client standards and procedures for drafting and design.
Evaluate design alternatives for constructability, code compliance, and site challenges.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
Position Requirements:
A high school diploma is required, along with completion of an Autodesk AutoCAD certification program or equivalent drafting experience. An associate or technical degree in CAD, civil engineering technology, or a related field is preferred.
0–2 years of experience in civil design or drafting.
$60,500 - $72,500 biweekly
